Female Holistic Nutritionist

Hi, I'm McKenna

I'm a Certified Nutritionist, recipe developer, & sourdough home baker. But most importantly, I'm here to help you feel nourished within your body & better connected to your body.

Let's get back to the basics of
caring for our bodies

I often hear from women who struggle with bloating, fatigue, anxiety, irregular cycles, migraines, constipation, the list goes on. And frequently, these symptoms are brushed off as if it's a part of life.

We cope, we adapt, & maybe restrict certain things along the way, fearing it might cause a reaction. I know that feeling far too well. I was there for years, and it's no way to live.

I've spent years managing chronic conditions through food, herbs, lifestyle changes, supplements, & beyond. Truly, it has changed my life.

That journey brought me here today: helping other women uncover the root of their symptoms while teaching them how to invite nourishing, delicious foods back into their lives. And, you can too!

Let's start here

Where you'll find my love of highlighting whole foods, traditional sourdough baking, & how to work with me one-on-one.

Get to know McKenna

I'm a Nutritionist & baker at heart, but there's always more to a person.

Why sourdough bread?

Bread was the food I restricted for years. Baking sourdough helped me begin healing my relationship with food. And, it didn't bother my stomach. It continues for many reasons but will forever hold a special meaning.

Do you take your own pictures?

Yes! Food photography is one of my favorite parts of bringing a recipe to life. I believe making & tasting food is an entire experience & the visual aspect is very much a part of that.

Do you follow a diet?

No. I eat based on how my body feels. If I need to support my gut a little more, I include certain foods. If I'm having migraines, I eat other foods. But with any food, I do my best to emphasize it's quality & digestibility.

But, I see labels on your recipes...

I recognize that others may prefer to eat a specific way, or need to while treating certain conditions. So I make recipes for everyone. Vegan, GF, DF, low FODMAP, & more!

What's your favorite food?

Can I say chocolate? It would be that. Dark chocolate, always.

How could I work with you?
Many ways! One-on-one as your nutritionist, your in-house meal-prep chef, or event baker. I'm here to help you enhance your experience with food.

Here, you'll learn how to use simple, whole ingredients to make delicious foods your body loves.

If you are looking to become healthier, McKenna is the person to get you on the road to a healthier life. I am a middle aged woman with multiple health issues (diabetes, hypertension, joint pains) and I have always had weight issues. I was able to maintain an ideal weight from high school until I got married. However, after I got pregnant my weight ballooned and my weight went up for many years. I would try to go to the gym and exercise but sadly, I would either reinjure my ankles/knees or lose the motivation and interest. I became more frustrated with this spiral and in turn, made my diabetes more difficult to manage.

Last year, I decided to make a step towards tackling my weight and health issues. I signed up with McKenna and has since made a world of difference.  She is a very warm, patient, and understanding person who also pushes you to work harder than you ever thought possible. If I have joint issues with my ankles, knees, shoulder. wrists or elbows she never fails to come up with an exercise plan that will still get my heart beating without bothering my problem spots. Since I have been working with her, I have shocked myself by how much I am able to accomplish, I never thought I would be physically fit enough to do half of what I'm doing now.

McKenna is there to guide and motivate you every step of the way. She is not just a trainer or nutrition coach, she is a caring individual who will stick with you through it all. If you are looking for someone to help you take the first step to becoming physically and emotionally healthier, then I would highly recommend McKenna.
